From July 2nd to August 3rd, 2009 I participated in the Canadian Teachers' Federation 's Project Overseas. I worked on a team with 6 Canadian teachers and 16 Ghanaian co-tutors to in-service appox. 600 teachers in Ghana, Africa.

- I was just elected the Vice-President of River East Transcona Teachers' Association for 2009-2010. I am very excited about my new position but sad to be leaving the classroom.
I will also be representing MTS as a Project Overseas participant in Ghana, Africa in July. I will be teaching Ghanaian teachers middle school math.

Project Overseas - Team Ghana 2009
On July 2nd, 2009 I started an amazing journey. It began in Ottawa where I met the team of 5 other Canadian teachers that I would be traveling with to Ghana, Africa.
